Cajamarca has an average annual temperature of 14°, (Maximum 21° and minimum 5° C). The rain season runs from December to March.
Access:
The best overland route is Lima-Trujillo-Cajamarca (865 km) up the North Pan-American Highway. The trip takes around 15 hours by car. There are also daily flights from Lima which take around 70 minutes.
