Day 01 : Arequipa / Misti Base Camp
You will be picked up from your hotel at 7:00 am to go by the route of Cabrerias, National Reserve of Aguada Blanca between the Misti and Chachani volcanoes. If possible you will see the wild vicuñas.
At 08:30 you will arrive to the north base of The Misti at 3,800 meters (car base) and you will begin the trekking up to the 4,800 meters.
After lunch you will restart the trek in east direction, until arriving at the camp base called " Mont Blanc ". Dinner and camping at 4800 meters.
Day 02 : Mount Chachani / Arequipa
Early in the morning you will have breakfast and then you will beging with the climbing with light equipment, trekking for about 3 hours after that you will have a brief rest at 5,600 meters then you will attack the summit.
From the summit you will view the enormous crater and a second one smaller characterized for emanation of some gases in the bottom, land with coloration of sulfurates, you can walk until the point called the cross of the Misti at 5,825 meters. From there you will have an impressive view of the city of Arequipa , and the snowy Chachani, Pichu-pichu, Coropuna and Ampato mountains.
At around 1 pm we start the descent until camp base to have a rest, and continue walking down to the car base and return to Arequipa. Transfer to your hotel.
