Day 1 : Arrival to Lima
PERU TRAVELS NET will be waiting for you at the airport of Lima with a sign with your name. After that, we will take you to your Hotel in the most tourist and safest district of Lima, Miraflores. (Overnight Miraflores)
Day 2 : Lima City Tour & Gold Museum
After breakfast you will be picked up to have the City tour. This excursion offers the best combination of the different attractions in Lima and its three historical periods: pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary. Then you will have lunch in a very nice restaurant. After that, we will return to our private car to go the " Gold Museum ". This museum has an excellent collection of pre-Columbian gold, silver and bronze, ceramics, weavings and mummies. Upstairs there is a remarkable arms collection with an impressive exhibition from Spanish colonial times. Finally, transfer back to the hotel. (Overnight Miraflores) (B)
Day 3 : Lima - Arequipa
Transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight Lima - Arequipa . Arequipa "The white city" has a lot of colonial buildings and is located at the foot of three volcanoes: Pichu Pichu (5571m), Misti (5825m) and Chachani (6075m). The facades are beautifully ornamented with fruit, flowers, animals and human faces. This architectonical style is unique and characteristic of this. After doing check in at the Hotel we will take a City tour and visit the beautiful Convent of Santa Catalina, Yanahuara, some colonial buildings, the Cathedral, and much more. After that you will return to the hotel and have a free time to enjoy Arequipa by yourself. (Overnight Arequipa ) (B)
Day 4: Arequipa - Colca Canyon
After breakfast your experience to the Colca Canyon begins. You will travel in a private transportation and with a local guide. The Colca Canyon is one of the world's deepest canyons and has excellent views of an spectacular scenery in the natural habitat of the world´s largest flying bird, the Condor. We start our trip through the Yura road, passing through the Vicuña National Reserve in Pampa Cañahuas, then we head to Puerta del Colca (Ruta de la Pulpera), located at 4,000 m.a.s.l. You'll visit the Mollepunko Caves where the pre-Inca rupestrial painted, raised works on stone, as well as the impressive Callalli castle. Here the guide will provide a tasty box lunch. You'll continue towards Chivay. Arrival and reception at the Hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free for personal activities (Overnight in a hotel with relaxing hotsprings) (B)
Day 5 : Colca Canyon
After breakfast in the hotel, you'll head to El Mirador de La Cruz del Cóndor (sightseeing spot), to appreciate the canyon's depth at 1,200 meters from the river level, and the condor's majestic flight. During the return trip to Chivay you'll be able to appreciate the different sight-seeing spots and typical churches of the Colca Valley , the Antahuilque lagoons, the Amphitheater and much more. Also, you will appreciate traditional people way of living, wearing their typical clothes, beautiful embroidered dresses and jackets and their hats are distinctive. Free afternoon for personal activities. (Overnight in a hotel with relaxing hotsprings) (B)
Day 6 : Colca Canyon - Sillustani-Puno
After breakfast you will have to say good bye to the Colca Canyon to continue with the tour. You will have a long journey watching Peru 's famous camellids (vicunas, llamas, and alpacas), the incredible landscape, and many more that will captivate your interest. Transfer from the Colca Canyon to Puno. Its a long but very rewarding trip and at the end of the day we arrive at the archaeological center of Sillustani. We will observe impressive funeral tombs belonging to the Kolla culture (1200-1450). Their noble class (Caciques, priests) were buried in funeral towers called chullpas. Their corpses were previously mummified and placed in fetus position together with some of their belongings, such as gold and silver objects, jewelry, ceramics, and food and we will observe a spectacular sunset. Day 7 : Floating Island of Uros / Taquille / Suasi Island
Early breakfast and transfer to the local pier to board our fast speed boat to start our adventure in the Titikaka lake. We will make two stops on route. The first one to visit one of the 40 ‘Uros’ reed islands. Main activities in these Islands -made of totora- are fishing, hunting, and taxidermy. The next stop is in Taquile Island. We disembark in (less known) South part of the island. We continue cruising until we reach Suasi. The sunset over Titicaca Lake can be already witnessed on the island. Suasi is a largely unknown private island with a lovely hotel -built with natural materials like stone and adobe and thatched with ‘ichu’ local high-altitude grass. The hotel is located on a hilltop and offers stunning lake views from every room. Due to its remoteness and awesome sceneries Suasi is an ideal place to relax and forget ’fast life’. Overnight.
Day 8 : Suasi Island
You will find yourself immersed in the special energy of this truly special island. Walking, hiking, fishing are just some of the activities available. Be on the lookout for unique animals such as llamas and alpacas as well as tarucas (Andean deers). You’ll also find a lovely rose garden and a green house where organic crops of native grains and vegetables are grown. If you just want to relax the spa offers different health treatments for its guests (at additional cost). An insight about the Altiplano, its cultural legacy, history and natural environment can be gained at the hotel’s Andean library. Overnight
Day 9 : Suasi / Conima / Huancane / Taraco / Puno
Breakfast and departure to Conima (at 30 min.) from where we will begin our trip back to Juliaca. On the way you will visit the towns of Moho, Huancane, and Taraco. We will visit their beautiful colonial churches, narrow streets and plazas. These towns are very picturesque, charming and the people in these places still keep their local costumes. Arrival in Puno and transfer to your hotel in Puno. Overnight
Day 10 : Puno: Juliaca - Cusco
After breakfast, we will be transferred to the airport to take the flight to our final destination the Inca capital of Cusco . Upon arrival we will be transferred to our hotel. Cusco also known as "The Navel of the Earth" for the Incas with it is fascinating Inca buildings and ruins. Cusco was and will always be the capital of the Inca culture. It shows a fascinating contrast between ancient cultures and the Spanish conquest. This is obvious as we have a look for example at their customs, the traditional parties, where a lot of Inca rituals are demonstrated, the official Inca language Quechua that is still spoken. You never stop exploring Cusco . Free day to get acclimatized to the 3 360 m.a.s.l. (Overnight Cusco) (B)
Day 11 : Cusco City Tour and Nearby Ruins
In the afternoon, a City Tour walking through the Cathedral, Qorikancha or the Sun Temple and the surroundings ruins: The Sacsayhuamán Fortress. People think it was an astronomic observatory and is used for meditation because of its great accumulated cosmic energy. You will visit Q'enqo, this place was used for worship and ceremonial center, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay or Inca's Bath . Return to the Hotel. (Overnight Cusco ) (B)
Day 12 : Sacred Valley of the Incas
After breakfast you will have a tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a succession of picturesque Towns, agricultural terraces, and archaeological sites. First you will visit Pisac. Pisac is a district of the Calca province, located at 32 km to the northeast of Cusco . Its altitude comprises 2,950m.a.s.l. This town has a typical market and its cultivated terraces in the mountain slopes. Also famous for its Sunday fairs where you will be able to appreciate and buy beautiful handicrafts. Continue up to the Valley toward the town of Ollantaytambo . Ollantaytambo complex is another national archaeological park located at the traditional district of Ollantaytambo, which belongs to the province of Urubamba, on the western side of the Urubamba Valley at 93 km (50 miles or one and a half hour journey approximately) to the northeast of Cusco. The upper section of Ollantaytambo features a fortress made up of a series of carved stone terraces built to protect the valley from possible invasions by warring jungle tribes. Day 13 : Train to Aguas Calientes
From the valley you will go on a nice train ride slowly into the rainforest to Aguas Calientes, the village down Machu Picchu . Arrival to the Aguas Calientes Train Station. There you will take a 20 minutes bus drive to the Citadel of Machu Picchu. The Citadel is on the eastern slope and is divided into two different areas, the agricultural and the urban. You will have a guided tour around this beautiful place visiting the Main Square, The Circular Tower, The Sacred Sundial (The Intihuatana) The Royal Quarters, The Temple of the three Windows and burial grounds. Time free to take a walk around the Citadel. You will have lunch in Aguas Calientes Town . Take the train back to the Sacred Valley . (Overnight Sacred Valley) (B)

Day 14 : Sacred Valley - Cusco
Your private guide and driver will pick you up in the morning for another interesting Valley trip. You will enjoy the spectacular views of the countryside and you will observe the salt mines situated between the mountains that surround the Sacred Valley . Later on you will visit Chinchero an Indian village, situated 28 kilometers northwest of Cusco, the Andean town of Chinchero is one of the best places in the valley for Andean textiles and basic goods like hats, gloves, and shawls. Commanding sweeping views of the Salcantay and Vilcabamba mountain ranges, this traditional Andean village will captivate you with its natural beauty and cultural integrity. Transfer back to Cusco . Day 15 : Cusco - Lima
You will have the morning to do some shopping in Cusco and enjoy for last time the city. Depending on your flight schedule you will be transferred to the airport. In Lima , you will be awaited by us in the arrival lounge of the airport. Transfer to your hotel.(Overnight Miraflores)
Day 16 : Lima
Breakfast in the hotel. Free day. Transfer to airport for your international connection. (B)
