Cultural Tours in Peru
This is the best tour to enjoy all the tourist attractions located in the South of Peru. You will be able to visit Paracas and the “Ballestas Islands”, known as little Galapagos, do buggyride in the Paracas dessert, do the overflight to the Nazca Lines, visit Arequipa and the fabulous Colca Canyon. Then your trip will lead you to Puno, where you will visit the Lake Titicaca and the floating Islands, Uros. Finally, you will visit Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. You will stay in a nice and cozy hotels during the whole tour. It will definitively be an unforgettable experience in the most comfortable way.
Arrival, welcome and transfer to your Hotel in the most tourist and safest district of Lima, Miraflores. (Overnight in Lima)
After breakfast you will be picked up to have the City tour. This excursion offers the best combination of the different attractions in Lima and its three historical periods: pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary. Then you will have lunch in a very nice restaurant. After that, we will travel to Paracas by bus (Duration: 03 hours). Arrival and transfer to your hotel. The, we will discover the warm sands of the Pisco desert in our dune buggies, designed especially for this terrain. The Dune Buggy circuit is 20 km long. We will find dunes of up to 70 meters tall that will be climbed in just seconds. The ride includes some of the biggest dunes in the area. Also, live terrific moments and discharge a lot of adrenaline in this natural desert practicing sand board. (Overnight in Paracas)
After breakfast we will go to the local pier and take a boat to the Ballestas Islands to observe Sea lions, Boobies, Pelicans, Penguins and other Marine birds, among the many other species which converge there looking for shelter. On the boat trip over to the Islands, the famous "Candelabro" can be seen, an enigmatic drawing that many people believe is related to the Nazca lines, while others think it is a representation of the Southern Cross Constellation, or a stylized drawing of a cactus that was used by high Inca and pre-Inca priests as an hallucinogen. After taking pictures of the Sea lions, Seals and Seabird rookeries we return to the pier. Then, Bus transfer to Nazca. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. (Overnight in Nazca).
Very early in the morning pick up from your hotel and transfer to the local airport to board a propeller plane for a fly-over of the enigmatic Nazca lines, enormous line drawings of animals, birds and geometric figures that still remain etched in the desert, and can only be appreciated from the air. In the afternoon transfer the bus station to take the bus to Arequipa. (Overnight in Arequipa).
Breakfast at the hotel. Arequipa "The white city" has a lot of colonial buildings and is located at the foot of three volcanoes: Pichu Pichu (5571m), Misti (5825m) and Chachani (6075m). The facades are beautifully ornamented with fruit, flowers, animals and human faces. This architectonical style is unique and characteristic of this. After your check in at the Hotel we will take a City tour and visit the beautiful Santa Catalina Convent, the Yanahuara, viewpoint, some colonial buildings, the Cathedral, and much more. Return to your
hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy Arequipa by yourself.

Breakfast departure to Chivay: 08:00am we will go towards the Valley of the Colca, throughout the way is observed beautiful landscapes, Snow-covered mountains and the reserve of vicuñas. Soon we will arrive at Chivay and we will follow towards the thermal baths the CALERA (15º thermus medicinal waters) located to 15minutes to the town for which it is necessary to wear bath clothes, soon we returned to Chivay, where we will get accommodation in the hotel. In the afternoon will be able to visit the town of Chivay, the artisan market and to make some purchases. (Overnight in Colca Valley).
At 06:00 a.m., breakfast and soon we will go towards the Viewpoint de la Cruz of the Cóndor, strategic zone to appreciate the Colca Canyon and flight of the Cóndores, after we will return by the same way, we will appreciate the hanging tombs pre-Incas, litomaquetas, viewpoint of terraces and small towns like Pinchollo, Maca, Yanque, stopping in each 20 town 10 or min. We will arrive at Chivay at around 1 pm to board to the bus that will us to Puno. (Overnight in Puno).
Early breakfast and transfer to the local pier to board our fast speed boat to start our adventure to the Titikaka lake. We will make two stops on route. The first one to visit one of the 40 ‘Uros’ reed islands. Main activities in these Islands -made of totora- are fishing, hunting and taxidermy. The next stop is the Taquile Island. We disembark at the(less known) South part of the island. Finally, transfer back to the pier and transfer to your hotel. Finally we will travel back to Puno. (Overnight in Puno).
After breakfast, you will travel by bus to Puno. During the road you will visit some archeological places located on the way, such as Pukara, La Raya, Raqchi and Andahuaylillas. Also, you will have lunch buffet in Sillustani. Arrival to Cusco and transfer to your hotel. (Overnight in Cusco).
Breakfast at the hotel. In the afternoon, your City Tour walking will start through the Cathedral, Qorikancha or the Sun Temple and the surroundings ruins: The Sacsayhuamán Fortress, Q'enqo, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay or Inca's Bath. Return to your hotel. (Overnight in Cusco).
After breakfast you will have a tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a succession of picturesque Towns, agricultural terraces, and archaeological sites. Your first stop is Pisac. Pisac is a district of the Calca province, located at 32 km to the northeast of Cusco. Its altitude comprises 2,950m.a.s.l. This town has a typical market and its cultivated terraces in the mountain slopes. Also famous for its Sunday fairs where you will be able to appreciate and buy beautiful handicrafts. Then our next visit will be the Ollantaytambo town. Ollantaytambo fortress is another national archaeological site located at the traditional district of Ollantaytambo, which belongs to the province of Urubamba, on the western side of the Urubamba Valley at 93 km to the northeast of Cusco. Then, we will return to Cusco and on the way back we will make an stop at Chincheros which is situated 28 kilometers northwest of Cusco. This Andean town is one of the best places in the valley for Andean textiles and basic goods like hats, gloves, and shawls. Commanding sweeping views of the Salcantay and Vilcabamba mountain ranges, this traditional Andean village will captivate you with its natural beauty and cultural integrity. Finally, transfer back to Cusco. (Overnight in Cusco).
Breakfast at your hotel. You will take your train to Machu Picchu town, also known as Aguas Calientes. After approximately 3 hours of trip you will arrive to the Aguas Calientes town. Here you will take a 30 minutes bus drive to Machu Picchu. The Citadel is on the eastern slope and it’s divided into two different areas, the agricultural and the urban. You will have a guided tour around this beautiful place visiting the Main Square, The Circular Tower, The Sacred Sundial (The Intihuatana) The Royal Quarters, The Temple of the three Windows and burial grounds. Then you will have some free time to enjoy Machu Picchu at your onw step. (Overnight in Aguas Calientes) .
Breakfast at your hotel. Day at leisure. We suggest you to visit the Machu Picchu Citadel once again or hike the Huayna Picchu to receive the cosmic and tellurics energy that the Sacred “Apu “ Mountain has. (Entrance tickets not included for the second visit). The hike to Huayna Picchu starts at the Sacred Rock and passes through a gate that is open from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. There are two schedules one from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. and the second one from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and there’s a limited number of people that can enter each day (200 per shift). Please, if you are interested on hiking the Huayna Picchu, let us know in advance so we can do the booking and buy the entrance ticket in advance. Another alternative is to stay in Aguas Calientes town and go to the hot Springs to relax the body. Finally, return to Cusco and upon you arrival to Cusco transfer to your hotel. (Overnight in Cusco).
Breakfast at your hotel. You will have the morning to do some shopping in Cusco and enjoy for last time the city. Depending on your flight schedule you will be transfer to the airport where you will wait your international flight connection.
Optional: You can add some extra days to visit the jungle (Manu National Park or Tambopata National Park from Cusco or Iquitos from Lima or any other nice trip).
