Day 01 : Cusco – Mollepata (Cruz Pata) – Soraypampa.

The day will start driving from Cusco to the village of Mollepata (3000m / 9843f) and continue in the direction of Cruz Pata (3400m / 11155f), the place where we are meeting with the group of horseman. We start hiking within a magnificent valley, mountains and the most important snow-capped such as the Humantay (5217m / 17116f) and the Salkantay (6264m / 20551f). Our campsite will be at Soraypampa (3700m / 12139f).

Day 02 : Sorayapampa – Salkantay pass - Challway

In the morning we will have the most difficult part to the highest point of the trek called the Salkantay pass (4600m / 15092f), from where we will start our descend and get a little time to observe the challenge of the ecosystem towards the tropical forest of Challway (3000m / 9842f), our camp for the night.

Day 03 : Challway – Wiñaypoco – La Playa

Actionably this day is to descend through a dimmed forest, where the vegetation grows brightly, among this outstanding kindness of Orquídeas, Bromelias, Bomareas etcetera. We will also meet with some local families during the trek, for instance in Wiñaypoco (2650m / 8694f) and La Playa (2100m / 6890f), where our camp will be.
Hiking time: 6 hours
Climate:      warm during the day with mosquitoes, cold in the night.

Day 04 : La Playa – Llactapata – Aguas Caliente village

We will begin the early morning with ascending through the Inca Trail to the archeological complex of Llactapata (2650m / 8694f). Here we will be in a beauty cloudy forest and will have an exceptional view over the Machu Picchu mountain, Waynapicchu and etcetera. Afterwards we will continue down to the hydroelectric station (1950m / 6398f). Here we will take the train in the direction of Aguas Calientes village (2050m / 6726f), where we will spend the night in hostel.

Climate:         warm with a lot of mosquitoes.

Day 05 : Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

It is recommendable to visit the lost city of the Incas early in the morning; we will leave for the Machu Picchu (2400m / 7874f), getting to hear a lot of information about the historical lost city of the Incas. After the guide finishes his passion of knowledge in Machu Picchu, everyone will get enough time to spend up in Wayna picchu (2750m / 9022f), before meeting again in Aguas Calientes and taking the train to go back to Cusco.
The climate in Machu Picchu is warm with mosquitoes. Breakfast is included.

Transport from La Playa to Santa Teresa town (It can be an option if you want to enjoy in the hot mineral spring)
Bus goes downhill from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes where the train station is situated; additionally you can do a payment of $7.00 for this service. Other possibility is a walk of an hour.
