In Cusco you will have a private city tour with the visit of 4 ruins located in the surrounding area of Cusco and a 2-day visit to Machu Picchu Citadel, with overnight at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, the unique Hotel located on the top of the mountain next to Machu Picchu Mountain.

After dinner you will be able to enjoy Lima at night by making some stops at different places to take some pictures such as: the sculpture in the park of love which represents a “Couple of Andean Lovers”.

The 16th-century Hotel Monasterio, originally built as a monastery in 1592. In the afternoon, you will have a private city walking tour through the cathedral, the main square, the Qorikancha, also known as the Sun Temple, and the surroundings ruins: Q’enqo, Puca-Pucara, Tambomachay and the impressive Sacsayhuaman fortress, which its building qualifies as a cyclopean construction due to the size of its stones, some of which weigh between 90 – 128 tons.
Finally, transfer back to your hotel.

After breakfast, you will have a private tour to the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas, a succession of picturesque towns, agricultural terraces and archaeological sites.
First you will visit Pisac, with its typical market, and picturesque cultivated terraces in the mountain slopes, also famous for its Fairs where you will be able to appreciate and buy beautiful handicraft.
After Pisac, you will have lunch in a very traditional and fancy restaurant located in the Valley, with a splendid view of the landscape.
Then, you will continue up the Urubamba Valley to the highlight of this day which is Ollantaytambo town. The upper section of Ollantaytambo features a fortress made up of a series of carved stone terraces built to protect the valley from possible invasion by warring jungle tribes. After this interesting visit, the excursion will continue to the village of Chincheros where lies the remains of what the royal hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui was.
You will be arriving in Cusco late afternoon.

After breakfast, transfer to the Poroy train station to take the luxury Hiram Bingham train, consisting of 2 dining cars, an observation bar car and a kitchen car, can carry up to 84 passengers. The general style of the carriages reflects the luxury of the 1920s Pullman era.
The Hiram Bingham departs Cusco at 9am which gives a more leisurely start of the day than the traditional 6am departures of other services.
Brunch is served on board whilst travelers enjoy the spectacular scenery unfolding before them from the large windows.
You will arrive to Machu Picchu at 12:30 pm. This time will give you the advantage of entering to the Sanctuary at an hour when most visitors are already beginning to leave for their journey back to Cusco.
Your guide will be waiting for you at the train station to walk you to the bus station to board the bus that will take you to Machu Picchu (Ride: 20 minutes).
In Machu Picchu we have a 2-hour guided tour. During this you will get to know the amazing Machu Picchu Citadel and the Intiwatana (Solar Clock).
Then, you will have some free time to explore the ruins individually. At the time you prefer, you can go to your hotel, Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, the only one located right on the top of the mountain, a couple of seconds from the actual ruins.

Day at leisure, we suggest you enjoy the hotel or visit the Machu Picchu Citadel for a second time or hike the Huayna Picchu to receive the cosmic and telluric energy that the Sacred Apu has. (Entrance tickets not included for the second visit).
To hike the Huayna Picchu you need to book entrance tickets in advance, because it’s only 500 people per day allowed to enter. This – one to two – hour walk is steep; the last 20 meters include a steep rock slab to be climb. The Incas built terraces here, and the airy summit offers a perfect view of the entire complex, which spreads out before the summit like a map. You will get excellent photos and the view is unique.
You must be on board the train at 6:00 pm for the departure; pre-dinner cocktails are served in the bar accompanied by live entertainment, also passengers will enjoy a 4-course, à la carte dinner, in the dining cars.
The train pulls into Poroy station in Cusco at 9:25 pm, where your private driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel.

Then you will travel back to the XXI century visiting modern districts with beautiful squares, small squares and avenues, as well as Miraflores with its beautiful beaches, intensive commercial trading and active nightlife.

The community in Machu Picchu is very important. Here we give you some recommendations of what you should bring:
If the trip is during the rainy season (November – March), you should wear warm clothes, a waterproof poncho and non-slip shoes.
On the other hand, if the visit is made in the dry season (April – October) it is important to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat or hat with a wide brim, as well as mosquito repellent.
